The Nottingham CD has several children born to a William Copley and an Ann - but the mother's surname is not quoted, so I cannot distinguish if these are really two families or not - I'm assuming they are because of the different profession - people didn't tend to change professions in those days. My g-g-g-grandfather is Joseph (listed below), and I too cannot figure out if his mother is Ann Whittington or not. The only marriage record for a William Copley on the CD is to Ann Whittington in 1811. If you find anything further, I'd love to hear from you.
