Thanks for your message re: Robert Bailey & Maria Coonrod. I have been following the same trail. The will of John Coonrod (1821) has a "Mary Coonrod" wife of Robert Bailey, but in all likelihood it is the same person. Don't know anything about a John Bailey of Hardy County. Robert and Maria had a son John, born ca. 1820 in Ohio, who emigrated to Missouri. I have a pretty good fix on the descendants of Robert and Maria, but nothing firm on their origions.
