Fulton Patriot – 1927
John Edward Coon, died June 18, 1927, age 45 years. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Jessie Coon, three daughters, Gladys Coon of Oswego, Edith and Leona Coon of Fulton; two sons, Edward Coon of buffalo and George Coon of this city; one sister, Mrs. Mary Colvin of Altmar.
Funeral services held at the Salvation Army barracks Thursday afternoon; interment in Fairview Cemetery, Bundyville. The deceased was employed at the McHenry-Millhouse company’s plant and was at work June 11th; the following day he was taken ill and died on the day following.

I would like to connect with persons with ties to this line; John E. was a descendant of my ggg grandfather, Joseph S. Coon who was b. 1791, Rensselaer, NY, d. 1873, Sandy Creek, Oswego, NY.
