I have been chasing the wrong family! I apologize to anyone I sent on the wrong track. I need information on Martha Conn Briggs, wife of Albert Gideon Briggs. She was born in Tennessee about 1845. Apparently married A.G. Briggs in Mississippi -- anyway their first child was born in MS. According to family history, she was Native American. She died about 1879 in Lamar County, TX. Could she have been the Martha who was a daughter of James Conn, who was in Tishomingo, MS, in 1850? I sure would appreciate any information you may have.
