in the 1900 census of alexandia,va., lists wm. h brawner,46,dob 1854 as a grocer. mar. to mary a brawner,43,dob 1857. 5 children living at home hattie,1883, henry,1885, julia,1886,maude,1888, edna,1889 they were married in 1882 in st. marys catholic church,alexandia,va. in 1910 mary was a widow. my mother, pauline hilda, born 1919, was a daughter of henry d brawner, born 1885 and louisa kathrn goefert born 1894,in the 1920 census in pa henry was 38, louisa was 25, and pauline was 3 months.
