Hi Bellinda, You may not remember this, but we communicated about Collins genealogy way back in 2000, a year before my book, The Free State of Jones, was published. I was intrigued then, as now, about how Mary Collins Ellzey might fit into the Stacy and Sarah Collins family tree. I still can't answer your questions, but the overlap of names, especially Parker, Knight, Herrington and Myrick, certainly suggest that there is a connection between Mary Collins and the Stacy Collins family. I would suggest that you visit my blog, http://www.renegadesouth.wordpress.com, and post your questions there. Ed Payne, a descendant of Sarah Collins Walters Parker, is particularly active on the blog, and has done some really good research on the Collinses. There are others as well.
