I am researching the Cole family, who resided in and around Lycoming County. Primary surnames of interest are: Cole, English, Bennett Other connected surnames include: Boatman, Tomb, Callahan Detailed information about the three generations that I am interested in is below. Amy (Point202) (1) John Cole (b. 28 Mar 1752 in New York, d. 28 Mar 1851 in Pine Creek, Lycoming, Pennsylvania). He married Elizabeth English (b. on 28 May 1764 in New York, d. 28 May 1852 in Pine Twp, Lycoming, Pennsylvania). Their children: Cornelius (1786-1850), Nancy (1788-1868), Mary (1800-1868), Jane (1801-1875), Peter (2) (1811-1851), Maria (1814-1893), William (1814-1885), Charlotte (1816-1881), Sarah (1828-?) (2) Peter Cole (b. 9 Jan 1811 in Lycoming, Pennsylvania, d. 28 Jul 1851 in Cummings Twp, Lycoming, Pennsylvania). He married Sarah Bennett (b. 1823 in Mifflin, Lycoming, Pennsylvania, died in Pennsylvania). Their children: James (3) (b. 1838), Jane (b. 1840), Violina (b. 1841), Archer (b. 1845), Almira (b. 1849), John (b. 1852) (3) James Cole (b. 1838 in Cummings Twp, Lycoming, Pennsylvania). He married Sarah (b. 1840). Their children Charles Albert Cole (1872-1924) and John Cole (born 1874). I am descended from Charles Albert Cole who married Hannah (“Nora”) McDermott. Their family lived in Clearfield county. Charles was killed in an automobile accident. His brother John lived in Buffalo, New York in his adult years.
