Have you checked the Social Security Death Index for John and Lettie? If not, try http://www.rootsweb.com I found several Frady's with first name John, but only one Lettie. She died in Feb., 1976, and last resided in Lake Lure, Rutherford, NC. You can order the form that each filled out to apply for SS, and oftentimes the application will contain useful ancestoral info.
