I don't think your Elizabeth, who married Charlie Hopper, is the same as the daughter of General Edward Coffee. His daughter, Nancy Margaret Coffee, married Edmund Singleton, III. The Elizabeth Coffee you write of is the daughter of Colonel John Coffee. I believe his wife was a Singleton. His first wife died. Elizabeth and Charlie migrated to Tupelo, Mississippi, then to Baxter County (Buford Community), Arkansas and had a bunch of children. I can dredge up the names if you want them.
My GGGrandfather, Colonel JAMES CALTON COFFEE, was the son of John Coffee, General Edward's slightly older brother. John died in 1822 and Edward became the guardian for the small family until Winiford remarried. Winiford Neville, and General Edward Coffee's wife, Elizabeth, were sisters, born in Oconee County, SC. Let me know if you need more. I have the Neville lineage back to Maryland.
