My ggggrandfather was James Calton Coffee. He was born in Rabun County,GA, Nov.13, 1819. Accordng to the 1830 Rabun Co. Census, Cleveland Coffee is the likely father. Other than that bit of information, I haven't a clue to his parentage. JC married Adaline Burns in Rabun Co. Feb. 18, 1835 and soon after migrate to Cherokee CO.,GA. Cleveland died before the 1850, as he was liste in 1840. Other names in Rabun Co. include Joel, Jesse and Gen Edward.
