The town of Mano is no longer there, although people in the area that knew of the town still call it Mano. It was located out Hwy 76, east of Cassville. Hwy M runs south from Hwy 76 to the area. It lies between Golden and Eagle Rock, but also to the north of these communities. They form a triangle with Mano being the north point. There is nothing there other than a few houses now. There used to be a community with a store and school, but most of that disappeared 70 years ago.
My grandfather paid his taxes to the Rock Creek Township.
