My Coans immigrated from London to Ellis Island, NY and then on to Alabama in 1913. Here are there 19th century ancestors. Would appreciate any information / connections from long-lost cousins. My grandfather: Cecil Sidney Coan Born on March 27, 1903 in Dalston, County of London Died 1967 in Los Angeles, CA My great – grandfather: Sidney Walter Coan Born on January 21, 1881 in Grove Place, County of Middlesex, England My great- grandmother Mabel Mary Cawse Born on November 21, 1883 in Regents Park, County of Middlesex, England Sidney and Mabel married; Cecil (my grandfather) was the only son I have records of. Sidney Walter Coan and Cecil Sidney Coan immigrated to Ellis Island, New York on July 16, 1913 and then went to Mobile, Alabama. Mabel did not accompany them to Ellis Island. By the 1920s Cecil was in San Diego, CA, where he married my grandmother, Helen Ethel Tye in 1929. My g-g grandfather Algernon James Chapman Coan Born on December 07, 1839 in St. Stephen, County of Norwich My g-g grandfather Harriet Maria Howse Born on July 05, 1848 Algernon and Harriet were married on February 19, 1866 in Parish of St. Stephen, County of Norwich, England. My g-g-g grandfather John Tyrrell Coan My g-g-g grandmother Sarah Cate Chapman John and Sarah were married on July 01, 1839 in Parish of St. Stephen, County of Norwich, England. My g-g-g grandfather Robert Howse My g-g-g grandfather Hannah Kemp My g-g grandfather Edmund Henry Cawse Born on July 19, 1862 in Islington West, County of Middlesex, England My g-g grandmother Mary Josephine Warren Born on November 03, 1858 in Cannington, District of Stowey, County of Somerset Edmund and Mary married April 13, 1883 in District of Pancras, County of Middlesex, England My g-g-g grandfather: Charles Henry Cawse (father of Edmund Henry) My g-g-g grandmother: Eliza Jones (mother of Edmund Henry) Charles and Eliza married February 05, 1860 in Islington, County of Middlesex, England. My g-g-g grandfather: Joseph Warren (father of Mary Josephine) My g-g-g grandmother: Mary Ann Kean (mother of Jary Jospehine) Joseph and Mary Ann were married January 18, 1858 in Parish of Cannington, County of Somerset, England My g-g-g-g grandfather: James Woodruff Cawse (father of Charles Henry) My g-g-g-g grandfather: Jonathon Jones (father of Eliza) Any additional information / insights into my 19th century family would be appreciated.
