Hi, I am looking for anyone who is related to Charles Clemens b. 12 Oct 1834 St Buryan Cornwall England m. Jane James 14 Mar 1857. They emigrated to Pennsylvania USA somewhere between 1865 & 1868. Something happened between 1876 & 1880 and Jane left Charles. He then married Susannah (unsure of the details). Charles & Jane had 8 children; Mary Jane b. 1858 Cornwall England Charles H b. 1861 Cornwall England d.23/11/1908 Ironwood MI Joseph b. 9/12/1862 Cornwall Eng d. 21/01/1936 Borneo New Guinea John b. 5/12/1864 Cornwall Eng d. 29/10/1955 Ironwood MI Annie b. 1868 PA USA Franklin b. 20/01/1870 PA USA d. 22/5/1940 Monterey County CA Thomas b. 2/1/1874 Janesville PA d. 20/01/1965 Northfield, Rice, Minnesota Robert James 30/01/1876 PA Charles' brother Joseph may have come over with them. Both men were miners and show up as living in West Providence, Bedford PA on the 1880 USA census. I am looking for history on Charles' parents family. His parents were William Clemens & Grace Trembath both from England. I have conflicting information about William Clemens' family and would like to know more. Thanks heaps! Tania Forward Australia
