Permilia Hix (ca 1822-abt 1881) married Mayburton Mahanes 1839 in Goochland County VA. On the marriage bond she said she was the adopted daughter of Robert Clarke. When she married (2) Nathaniel Page in 1875 in Goochland County VA she named her parents as: ____?_____ and mother Lavinia ____?____. On the 1860 Goochland County census, Lavinia Hix is listed as age 85 in the household of Permelia Mahanes. Who was her father? Who was Robert Clarke and was he related to Lavinia Hix?
