Trying to make connections within my tree with several Clarkes. Mary Crozier Clarke b 1804 in Abbey, Tipperary Town, Tipperary, Ireland married to Edward Thomas Long. I have no Clarke family connections for her. Who is her father I have a line of Clarks from Kent England beginning with James Clarke 1485 to his son George from Stratford, who descends through Fairfield Ct. to Gov. Clarke in RI to the tenth generations married to Slocums whose desc. migrate into Wilkes Barre Wyoming Valley area PA. I have an Elizabeth Clarke married to John Stanton b 1674 both of RI. Of this larger line above from England I also have an Mary Clarke b 1641 married to a John Stanton b 1645. Does anyone have these Clarkes in the same tree? Also since I have these many Clarkes who are related to other Sur names such as Stanton, Gaskins, Sholes who are related to Slocums etc.... I feel the Mary Clarke b 1787 must be relate to the above Clarkes. Mary Clarke b 1787 married to Jonathan Gaskins b. 1785 in Danville,Montour CO,PA. is my 3rd great grandmother. Jeremiah Clarke is my 9th great grand father. The Stantons have several marriages via cousins. Wishing to make connections with all mentioned with dates to the larger Clarke family of James' son George. Connie |
