Michael thanks. Unfortunately the three that you came up with aren't close to my gg gf Andrew Klein in age. Well, actually, the Utica one is(still off by 3 years though,) but the enlistment date is off by 2 years and Utica isn't a place he would likely be. The one that I was looking at is this one from the 68th Regiment: I believe this is him.

Interesting that he doesn't show up on the 68th Regiment list you linked to with the Andreas Klein. Is there a possible reason for that??

I have a family tree on Ancestry.com, so I know his siblings, parents and children and either their birth dates, and/or death dates. One of the two Andrew Klein's living at 68 E. 53rd St is the real one, if not both. I wasn't able to find anything on the 1860 census, but I have the 1870 census and following years. He's the only Andrew C. Klein born Sept 21, 1830.

Thanks Again. Edward Klein
