Am unable to identify the following and hope someone knows the parents of this George M. Scarborough who enlisted in Palestine, TX in the Spring of 1863 in Hood's Texas Brigate, 1st TX Vol. Inf. Reg't, Co. "G", Reagan Guards, Anderson Co., TX. George died in hospital in Richmond, VA on May 22 1862. Any help much appreciated. This was also posted on THE TEXAS in the Civil War Messge Board.
