According to the Civil pension index, all 3 are the same man
Joseph received a invalid's pension December 12, 1862 for his service in Company "I" 2nd NY Provisional Cavalry, as well as Company "I" 15th NY Cavalry and Company "F" 21st NY Infantry. (Application # 5863 and Certificate # 15460)

His widow (name given as Kate Warner) applied for a widow's pension October 13, 1905 (Application # 836466), no record of it being granted.

According to the pension index he died February 14, 1893 at Oswego, NY

1890; Census Place: Oswego, Oswego, New York; Roll: 53; Page: 1; Enumeration District: 257.
