My wife and i are the prospective buyers of a house and property in Brunswick county,VA. The property was once Miles Curtis Taylor. He had several sons in the CSA. He and his sons are all buried under a HUGE oak tree beside the house. There are a total of 17 headstones,5 of which have CSA steel markers. 3 of the head stones are marked with name, company, battilion, etc. There is also a John w. Turner who has a csa marker as well. We want to find as much history as we can on this house and property. It is said one of these soldiers was shot upstairs in the house. Bloodstains on floor appear to be proof. He was found by union troops and shot. Another story is this was used as a hospital and one of these soldiers wanted to defect to the union and deserted the csa to come home. ????? would love any info if anybody has any. Will give as much as info as i can on names. Thanks
