I'm the great great grandson of Florencio Parras born 1882 In Armadillo, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He came to the U.S. with his wife and my great grandmother. Apparently Florencio and his wife made a trip back to Mexico in 1951. Lucky me everyone in my family has names that stick out so I was able to find their border crossing passes and everything lined up. Something else happened however that was unknown to me that one of the questions in this verison of the pass was to let their parents. Florencio stated he was the son of Dionicio Parras and Juana Garcia. I found them being married in 1875 in Armadillo. Ancestry however showed me records of a soldier in the 1st New Mexio Cavalry Regiment, Company H. Familysearch.com had a record claiming he was 20 in 1863. Though I do notknow my Dionicio's date of birth if this was him he would have been 32 when he married Juana and 39 when Florencio was born. This is all possible. I was wondering if anyone can help me match him to this guy or disprove him. Perhaps if anyone could tell me what fold3.com has to say about it that would be very much appreciated.
