Hi there, HoiPing/ToiSan is a village in Canton. I know many people from this village took flight or sailed overseas to many parts of the world. My mum and her family, being one of them, came to New Zealand about 27 years ago, I being the 2 and half generation NZ'der (dad was born here, but his parents also from Canton settled in the 1940's as farmers). Working on my genealogy, I can't go further than my grandparents and I am interested to know more about my family in China.
