I did not have the specifics on the marriages, so I am also appreciative of that information you shared. Most of my knowledge about this line has come directly from my husband's father's family. Amanda Cheesman married Captain James N. Whitehead and had two daughters. The younger daughter was my father in law's grandmother. I know that Jacob's mother was Mary Fisler and that her ancestral family was from Switzerland originally. I know that she died in Iowa.
