Linda, I'm going to stir the pot up a bit more. Thomas Parks III wife's name was Sarah "Sally" but her last name is not known for certain. Some researchers believe her last name was Carringer, others believe her last name was Chandler and that a Richard Chandler may have been her father. Personally I don't believe that her last name was Carringer, as there isn't a Carringer family in the area during the time period in question, but there are Chandler families. If she was a Chandler who married a Parks then this might be the Parks/Chandler connection I have been looking for, as there were men named Parks Chandlers born before Richard and Charity Parks Chandler had a son named Parks Chandler. Even with Mary Parks there has been questions on whether her husband was Charles Bond I, others have him as John Bond I. I've kept the information of both just in case. Children give to John Bond I included Elizabeth, Jesse, Mary, John II, William (Billey). Children attributed to Charles Bond I included Nathan, Jesse, John, William (Billey) Gayle Keough did a lot of research on the Parks, and she's always been pretty thorough on her research. These are the dates she gave for Thomas Parks III and his wife Sarah. Thomas Parks b. May 26, 1751 Albemarle Co. NC, died Nov 26, 1819 Wilkes Co. NC. Sarah LNU b. May 24 1753, died Aug 4,1815 Wilkes Co. NC. If Thomas Parks III married Rachel Hoot it had to be after the death of Sarah. I still have your email address so will send you the rest. Don't want to post it on here as not all is proven conclusively, and don't want it spread around.
