Rita, I'm not sure of the nature of your data. Atherton Chaffee (Sr) married Rachel Fuller in Ashford, Conn.in 1756 He had been living there for some years. Subsequently he was known to be in the Westminster area perhaps doing some survey work, and then moved there. He had a son Atherton who also lived there and is buried in the old Westminster cemetery along with his dad. Your Atherton may have been the son which could explain how the father migrated that way.
