Thanks Jim, After I got the wills and read through them I kinda figured it wasn't my line. But was some very interesting reading,lol. I have put it in my misc Carruthers info though, you never know,lol. do you know anything about Simeon Carruthers born 1759, father was George? born in Canonbie, Dumfries? I am trying to fit things together but as I am sure you know there were many johns,georges and williams. thanks linda
