Hi Linda Sorry to disappoint you but the Carruthers family of Milne (Laverhay Kirkhill etc)in the parish of Whamfrey died out in the legitimate male line with the death of John of Milne, who died unmarried on the 7th of April 1899. His elder brothers George and Walter, predeceased him, when they both died unmarried in 1844 and 1854 respectively. Regards Jim Carruthers.
