I found an old unmarked cemetary in Clifton, Tn., Beech Creek area (Wayne County). I have pictures of the two graves with headsones and both are of Carrolls. One says Wife of DW Carroll and looks like date is 1850 (unclear pic.) The other is William D Carroll and date is also 18 something Hope this helps I am also researching Carrolls. My GGgrandmother was Margaret Carroll, married James Faris in Franklin Co Tn 1838 and then to Lawrence Co. Tn. Margarets sister Lucinda Jane Carroll Ladd also lived with them. If you come across any info I could use I would appreciate it
