Alexander Carroll m. (Lucy) Ruth Jane Whitney 27 April 1847. Alexander was brother to my gr-grandfather, Jeremiah Carroll. I find these children for Alexander: Martha, b. 1848, Alice b. 1850, Nancy b. 1851, Malinda b. 1854, Edmund b 1857. Alexander was killed at Shenandoah 1862.
