I've been told that I am a descendant of John Carroll, the Bishop of Baltimore, hence from what I've read, must also be a descendant of Charles Carroll, the Settler. I live in Australia but was born in Scotland. My paternal grandparents John Carroll (1884-1952)wife Annie Carroll (nee Kelso) (1884-1943)were both born in Scotland. John's father (my GG G/F) was Michael Carroll (1837-1911) and he was married to Bridget Carroll (1844-1914) and believe they travelled from Ireland (very likely Armagh) around 1881-1882.
I am very keen to see if I can join the dots between the siblings that Charles Carroll, the Settler left behind in Ireland in the hope I can trace them through to match up with the ancestors listed above.
Any input would be very welcome.
