I've just realised I forgot to look into the other matches I had for Michael Carroll. The Michael I am looking for was 68 yrs on the 1901 census and was born in Limerick City but living in Cappagh. There was no match for 1833 but one in 1832 and one in 1834 born in Limerick City,so it has to be one of them.I went with the first 1833 and I've met a dead end and the name mispelt didn't feel right. The second 1834 which is looks more likely to me now.His parent's were Andrew O'Carroll b.1786 and Jane Keane b.1789.This was interesting because Michael's (I'm looking for))son b.1859 had a daughter Jane and on his baptismal cert his god parent's were Joseph and Catherine O'Carroll. He also has a brother John b.1829.Parents and children all baptised in St John's in Limerick City.Does any of this relate to anyone else?
