Looking for surname CARREL or similar sounding Dutch name said to have come over from the Netherlands to Massachusetts in the early 1600s Not as a Pilgrim but perhaps as shipís crew or merchantís representative, etc. at about the same time. He was said to be ďamong the strangers from Holland listed on the ships with the PilgrimsĒ, which I assume were the Mayflower, the Fortune, the Anne and the Little James, and perhaps others later. I have visited Caleb Johnsonís Mayflower website but come up blank. Any wisdom appreciated.
