Mountain Democrat Placerville, El Dorado, California 15 Feb 2001 Shirley A Carnahan Shirley A. Carnahan, 77, of Placerville, died Feb. 13 of a heart attack at a local hospital. She was born on Oct. 16, 1923 in Rescue. As she was preparing for a night of rest in the Marshall Hospital Intensive Care Unit, she closed her eyes and passed away. She is survived by her brother Robert F. Dixon, his family and her six children. Services will be conducted at Discovery Hills Evangelical Free Church 4270 Shingle Springs Drive at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. Arrangements were made by Green Valley Mortuary.
