Norm, I just now saw your response last year to my post. It seems ironic to me that your branch of the Carlisle family ended up in AR as did my ggrandmother, Nancy Ann Elizabeth Carlisle Brannon. She was the granddaughter of Nathaniel Carlisle 1. She died in 1924 in Madison Co., AR, about 30 miles south of Fayetteville, AR, in the Boston Mountains. I don't have a lot of info about the Carlisle's but would share what I know. Thanks.
