Thanks for the feed back. The information I got was from a book written by Katherine Cansler's grandson Charles W. Cansler. His great-grandfather would have been Conrad Kantzler. I'm not certain we are talking of the same family since the information is close but not quite the same. Charles W. Cansler's book is titled, "Three Generations". It was difficult to find a copy, but I fortunately found a copy here in Ohio at Oberlin College. If you have an interest in finding if this is the same family, I would suggest reading it. This family moved to TN. There is a Cansler Elementary School in Mechanicsville, TN, a Cansler YMCA and a Cansler Avenue. I'd love any other input you may have. Thanks, Rose Cansler
