I am searching for information on the line of Cann family from Cornwall, England. This branch of Canns settled in PEI, Canada, in the 1800s. I am a descendant of James Cann (4/1821-5/1898)& Ann MacLean (11/1818-4/1912)of Clyde River, PEI. Their second child, Catherine Cann (4/1852-1/1936 married Archie MacQuarrie (1843-1891) of Bonshaw, PEI. They had five children. Their eldest daughter Mary A. MacQuarrie (1880-1963) is my maternal grandmother. She married James George McPhail (3/1878-2/1960) of PEI, resided at Lot 30 in Bonshaw, PEI, until 1909 when they immigrated to Massachusetts. They had four daughters. If anyone has any information on these family members, please contact me.
