Hi Benedict,

There is a death for Desiline at ancestry.com

She is listed under her maiden name

Maine, Death Records, 1617-1922 about Deseline Latulippe
Name:       Deseline Latulippe

Father:       Jean
Mother:       Matilda

In the image it shows her as married, so husband must still be alive at that time
Desiline is age 52 years 1 month 16 days
she died of bronchia pneumonia

there is also a marriage for a William Gagnon in 1909 Waterville

Maine, Marriage Records, 1713-1937 about William E Gagnon

the image shows it is a 2nd marriage for both of them, both being widowed
William is shown born St. Andeline of Dorchester, Canada
Henriette born Francois of Beauce, Canada
his father Dubere Gagnon is deceased
his mother Cesere Gallant also deceased
William is listed as a mason which matches with his occupation in 1900 census (where the family is indexed as GOODNO surname.)

William with wife Hattie is listed in Waterville in 1910, again listed as Goodno

GOODNO
William,a ge 69, mason, house, born Canada French, 2nd marriage, married 0 years

Hattie, age 58, born Canada French, 2nd marriage, married 0 years

the 0 years would be because they were married less than a full year

The Augusta Maine 1915 directory has
GOODNO
Henry V., driver - 31 Canabas

Octave, labourer, - 33 Spruce

Odena, Mrs. tailoress, - 6 Silver

William, mason, - 18 Collins

1917 has Henry and Octave but no William so he may have died between 1915 and 1917 ?

OK I just found him - he was indexed as born about 1871 so I ignored it but took a second look as the name is right and it is him - when I clicked on the name I see the parents match

Maine, Death Records, 1617-1922 about William Goodno
Name:       William Goodno
Gender:       Male
Age:       45
Birth Date:       abt 1871

Father:       Herbert
Mother:       Cesarie

Int he image his age is 70 years 4 months 18 days (the index says 45, but that is the number of years he has lived in Waterville, not his age so the indexer got it wrong
The image also says Date of birth 1845 Sept (cannot read the day)
He is married
previous residences - Orono Maine, and Canada
he is a mason
father Herbert Gagnon, born Canada
Mother Cesarie Gerant, born Canada
William died of passive pneumonia 4 days, cerebral haemorrhage 4 days

** so parents names a little off from what it says in his marriage record, but it is common to find various spellings of names
and it all depended somewhat on what the person giving the info actually knew or if they just gave what they thought was right ?

I believe I found the marriage for William's parents names close to what is shown on his marr. and death

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Hubert Gagnon
Name:       Hubert Gagnon
Spouse:       Cesaire Garand
Event:       Mariage (Marriage)
Marriage Year:       1832
Marriage Location:       St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec (Quebec)

it is in French so will give the main points as best I can with my high school French

June 5, 1832 after publication of three banns, marriage of Hubert Gagnon, cultivateur, living in this Parish, major son of Jospeh Gagnon and his deceased wife Genevieve Boisoin (hard to read) on the first part, and Cesarie Garand, living in this parish, minor daughter of Barile Garand, cultivateur and Genevieve Patchat. Int he presence of Joseph Gagnon and Bital Gagnon, brothers of the spouse and Barile Garand, father of the spouse and David Gagnon, friend of the spouse and others.

I looked to see I could find any children of Hubert and Cesaire and found
Marie born 1832 Pierre 1834 Augustine 1835 Pierre 1837 Hubert Macaire 1839
the first son Pierre died in 1834

the births in the St-François-de-la-Rivière-du-Sud, Québec (Quebec)

Parish seem to stop at 1839 so the family may have moved which would explain William's showing birth as St. Andeline of Dorchester, Canada

still have not found birth for William, but I see in 1861 his father is remarried to a Flavie Roy and has more children - found his remarriage and it is 1858 so he was not married to her for long before the census of 1861

they married in St. Anselme, Dorchester

I have tried to find Hubert and Cesarie and children in 1851 Canada census but have had no luck - they must be there somewhere but I cannot find any of them. They should be in Dorchester County as I found a birth of a daughter Georgianne in 1846 St. Anselme, Dorchester
and theya re there in 1861
I suspect William had left home by 1861 but should be with them in 1851

I think I found him in 1861

1861 ST. ANSELME, DORCHESTER, QUEBEC
GAGNON
Guillaume, age 20, servant, born Quebec

Ahh, I finally found his baptism, not where it is supposed to be

Quebec, Vital and Church Records (Drouin Collection), 1621-1967 about Guillaume Gagnon
Name:       Guillaume Gagnon
Event:       Baptême (Baptism)
Baptism Year:       1841
Baptism Location:       St-Vallier, Québec (Quebec)
Place of Worship or Institution:       Bellechasse

January 2, 1841 baptism of Guillaume born this day in this Parish, of the legitimate marriage of Hubert Gagnon and Cesarine Garrand, his father and mother. Sponsors Augustin Affairo and Theotiste Gagnon, uncle and aunt of the infant.

** so it must be that Hubert and Cesarie/Cesasrine moved a couple of times.

I have not fund a burial for Cesarie/Cesarine
