Hello Heidi:

I have a listing of Seigneurie in Québec, but it does not show the names of the owners in the late 1700 and early 1800. Given that all the children of this couple were born in New Carlisle in Bonaventure County, this is where he would have had a seigneurie if he had one.

There were four seigneuries in Bonaventure Co.

a. Port Daniel
b. Paspébiac
c. Shoolbred, (John Shoolbred was the owner in 1788, followed by James Shoolbred.
d. Cloridan

Internet does not associate the name John Russell with any Seigneurie.
