I am at my whitsend.....I can't confirm info someone had given me on my GGF. How can I locate the exact date of birth and his parent's name? According to my great aunts death certificate, Michael Kelly was born in Carleton, PEI. I know from census records he was born May 1871. Problem is, I have checked the census records from 1871 (he may not even have been born yet) and from 1881. He came to the USA in 1889 according to census records here in the USA. I would appreciate any help you can give me. I really don't want to drive to PEI to look for records. Its only a 9 hour drive, but still. LOL Thanks much
