Hi I'm searching my father's tree LeLaCheur's. They immigrated with 8 families to Murray Hbr. and Guernsey cove areas. The ship they traveled on was a private owned vessel. They left May 1st 1806 I think would have to look at my files. I'm interested and lost in Jean and Elizabeth Sensabaugh, LeLaCheur family. I know they went to Iowa and NB, US. I have their som William married a Jessie McKJenzie from Nova Scotia and they went to Rhode Island. I however am lost as I don't see him or his brother Paul married a NS girl Harriet N something. The family other wise went to Iowa while those 2 stayed in Rhode Island. I can't find Jessie's family. It is said their son William married a Cape Breton girl Catherine Christina McKinnon. The Son and wife went and had three girls in Rhode Island but not until after they lived in NS again and had a son William there who eventually married an Ethel Mae Napier from Trenton N. When he was 10 the parents and he went back to Rhode Island. Ok the Wm and Jessie I found lost a stillborn son. The family Bible said that Wm and Christy on the death record of a son Feb 14th but they were supposed to have lost a set of twins one girl one boy????I also seen Campbell listed in her name in NS who was that. I'm mixing info by the looks of it someone online typed wrong info? Although the Rhode Island death record said they both lost one? Can any one help me straighten this mess out? Wm and Catherine had my dads mom Jessie Christine who married a Wm of course Luddington in Nova Scotia and they had 5 sons and one girl. Her one sis lived right around the connor where the mom Catherine Christine died there age 85 heart. The head stone all of a sudden had all of them on it even Wm the first guy but he was surpossed to have died in Rhode Island they could of shipped his body to NS.
