I am not sure who Isaac Hicks and Mary Horne were???- in 1861 John Hicks and his wife Cinderella were with Isaac Hicks and his wife Hannah Pringle and their other children at Kennebec in Frontenac County, Ontario.
In 1861 John and Cinderella had a son William B. age one year whom I assume is William Benson Hicks who married Selina Loyst in 1879. It appears Cinderella passed away about 1863, according to posts of other people- and John must have married Harriet Barton between 1863 and 1865.
I wondered if this Isaac and Hannah were the parents of John because in 1861 Isaac is 44, Hannah 42 which would make them 17 and 15 when John was born. Possible however.
Isaac and Hannah moved to Essex County, Ontario prior to 1871- and then out to New Westminster B.C. prior to 1890. Isaac and Hannah both died there.
In 1851 Isaac and Hannah were in Sheffield, Ontario with seven children- there is a 19 year old John Hicks working in Ernestown.
