Great Great Grandmother came to Wales UK in around 1880 she was called 'Eskimo' but we do not know exact clan. Her unmarried name was Sarah J Woods. But this could, I understand through research be Dubois, as some people changed to the English from the French. I have no Idea how to search for her. I don't think the UK had immigration records then. Can anyone help. Even to know where the Woods or Dubois families were from. I realise the Native clans did not adopt 'surnames' until forced to do so and has hereditary family names. Her name seems very Anglicised to me. Any help much appreciated
