Update to first posting:Please note name change from first posting. I am looking for information on a black man named James Henry Kelsey born ~ 1851 in New York. He lived in Bermuda before moving to Yarmouth,NS. He married Ada Thompson from Yarmouth, NS and then Elizabeth Dulong (Dulain) from Yarmouth NS in 1886. He had a son with Ada Thompson named James Henry Kelsey b Yarmouth, NS who later changed his name to James Henry Kelley and then James Henry Kelly who moved to St.John, NB. I would like to find out information on James Henry Kelsey Sr. parents John and Mary Kelsey and to find out when he left New York and Bermuda and what he was doing there. Also if he was a black loyalist.
