This is more likely just expression similar frustration with the same problem.
My grandmother was Mary Joseph Pike of Salmonier/Mt. Carmel....she married my GF, William Patrick Judge in Point Verde in 1895. He was maybe half Native American(Mi'Kmaq, assume,as his mother was Mary Ellen Miller of Port Royal,Placentia Bay,
So I'm curious...did my GM Pike marry an Indian because she was already familiar with Pike-Indian connections?
Interesting.
I can't find anything else on my Indian connection.
P.S. Your aboriginal word reallyt threw me,as here in Australia that word automatically means Australian aborigines,who look nothing like Native Americans.LOL.
