I am looking for more information on John Royal, born c. 1792-1796, likely in Great Britain, and who came to the province of New Brunwick c. 1807-1811. He resided in Waterborough Parish c. 1822. Land petition applied for; went ungranted c. 1826. I suspect he is the father of John James Royal of Hodgdon, Maine, born in Waterborough c. 1822, however, I need to find some documentation in this regard. Any information on John Royal (Sr.), including his wife and children, would be greatly appreciated.
