Hello Susan, my interest in George W. Hall is the fact that he was married to one of my cousins Mary Margaret Howe. I was hoping to find descendants so they could help me answer a few questions about the Howe family. All I know about George W. Hall was that he was a lawyer and a partner in a prestigious Montreal firm. He and his wife had two children that I know of (but I don't know their names), and for years they lived in the relatively affluent suburb of Montreal West. My late mother was in touch with them for a while, but communication stopped after George's death. He is buried in the Mount Royal Cemetery in Montreal.
I haven't found much else during my research. There is nothing about them in the New Brunswick records. I had assumed that Mary and George were married in Montreal, but I've so far I've located no record to that effect - difficult without a date and place of worship because Hall was a fairly common surname and the indices don't always give the full name. This issue has been a stumper for quite some time, so any help would be appreciated.
