I'm trying to learn the identity of the following young woman. Martha A. E. COMMACK, b. ca. 1860 in Mercer Co, (W)VA. m1: 29 Jun 1876, Summers Co., WV, to William H. DAVIS, b. ca. 1856 in Mercer Co., (W)VA; s/o William & Martha DAVIS. William died btwn. June 1876 and December 1877. m2: 27 Dec 1877, Summers Co., WV, to William H. A. CUMMINGS, b. ca 1857 in Kanawha Co., (W)VA; s/o Jacob & Harriet CUMMINGS. Marriage record shows Martha as Martha M. E. DAVIS, widow, age 16. Both marriage records state that Martha's father was Robert COMMACK (mother not listed). I am a direct descendant of Robert COMMACK & Nancy MEADOWS. I have yet to learn the names of all of the siblings of my gggrandmother, Emily F. COMMACK, d/o Robert & Nancy. Emily married Samuel D. "Devil Sam" LILLY. I suspect that Martha M. E. COMMACK, d/o Robert, could be a sister to Emily. I would also like to know where Martha COMMACK & William CUMMINGS settled. If anyone can add to the names of the children belonging to Robert COMMACK & Nancy MEADOWS (both died in Summers Co., WV), I would sure appreciate the help!
