I am still having trouble locating the parents of Cyrus Callihan b. 1877 d. 17 JUNE 1959. Recently a woman told me his obit says his father's name was Jonathan and mother Virginia [maiden name unknown]. In 1920 Greenup Co, KY, page 199A line 9-13 on East Fork Road, Cyrus was listed with his first wife Teresa May and daughter Virginia born in 1910 and son Estell M. bc. 1919. Also living with them is a Virginia L. Callihan listed as mother widow age 62. In 1910 Greenup Co, KY, I have been unable to find Cyrus and Teresa but I do find Johnathan Callihan age 85, KY and wife Sarah J. 70, OH living in Greenup Co, KY at ED 76 visit 159. In 1900 Greenup Co, KY, page 117A lines 4-6, Cyrus is living with his grandfather, Johnathan Callihan bc. Feb 1825 in KY fa:VA mo: VA and probably a second wife as only married 8 years, Sarah J. [UNK] bc. Feb 1840 OH fa:OH mo: PA. At this time Cyrus [Sirus] is listed as 23 years old bc. Mar 1877 born in KY as were both parents. My question is would this be the same Johnathan Callihan that appears in the 1870 Greenup Co, KY census visit 342 from the following: Jonathan Callihan 46 KY Catherine 47 KY Julia A. 20 KY John R. 22 KY Lavinda 18 KY Nancy 17 KY Hamilton 15 KY Virginia 12 KY Anna 11 KY Mary 10 KY Jonathan 8 KY Florence 5 KY Margaret Clark invalid age 76 EV Can anyone confirm that the 1870 Johnathan married to Catherine Clark is the same one in 1900 married to Sarah J.
