New at this adventure - wondering if Eleaza(e)r Calkins, born May 31, 1819 in New York, married to Josephine M Hovey is a branch of this Calkins family. They had 5 children: Fernando (born NY - 1840), Stephen (Born 1841 - NY - member of GAR), Harriet (born 1846 - MI), George (born 1849 - MI) and Jonathan (John/Jno - born 1852 - MI). Thanks!
