Brian, the only info i found on ancestry.com was Hale,Robert C. Died:24 May,1972 Los angeles social security #562-22-4979 born; 9 Feb,1924 Missouri you can try sending for his SS# application form. I can only do a lookup on US census up till 1930.hope this helps
