Hi Jan Brendy is correct about the Cashin family and Cashin Station located at Dove. However, if you want to know where San Jose is, it now goes by the name Pozo. It is a small township that is not very populated anymore. There was some mining near that area. Good luck in your search. I will keep my eyes open here in northern San Luis Obispo county. I can also check some cemetery records for you sometime. Paula
